Life of a tech support monkey..

I am a call centre monkey for a bank, doing software support. I've been doing tech support for about 3 and a half years with different companies. I've been at this company for almost 4 months.. and I'm located in Sydney, Australia. I think that's pretty much all you need to know. P.S Though names may be changed to protect the innocent, all these stories are true..

The one where I start posting again..

I have been trying really really hard not to let this job get to me,
I've been trying hard to practice patience, understanding, and empathy.

I think I will have to admit defeat.

Also, I think I should be able to reply with "no, are you having a stupid day?" to those customers to test my patience and then have the nerve to ask "are you having a bad day" when I start giving out instructions through gritted teeth to stop myself screaming at them.
